No matter which pratitioner treats you, or which clinic you visit, the point price charged is CHF 3.50.

In addition, our patients can benefit from a reduction when paying in the clinic (with a bank card or cash).

The patients who chose to pay for their consultation after their treatment (instead of upon invoicing) benefit from a 6% reduction, which brings the point price to CHF 3.30.

The first consultation, emergency treatments and hygiene also qualify for this preferential price, as these treatments are systematically paid for in clinic.

Do you know how dentist fees are determined ? 

In Switzerland, the principals for fees are standardized. Therefore, every act, every treatment carried out by a dentist or a dental hygienist, is associated with a certain number of points. This number of points, multiplied by a unit price, gives the cost of treatment for the patient.  

The Swiss Dental Association (SSO), the overseeing body for the profession, who, in partnership with social insurance (SUVA, AI, military and medical insurance) defines the standarized list of treatments carried out by the practitioners. . 

It is also the SSO that indicates a price range that dentists can freely fix their prices. Currently, these reference prices go from CHF 3.10 (min) to CHF 5.40 (max).

So for one x-ray, 5.5 pts are charged, which at the price of CHF 3.30, in effect at Adent for an immediate payment, corresponds to a total of CHF 18.15.
